I design logos, brands, social media, menus and event materials, and I plan and design campaigns from the first idea to the billboard.

Whether you're a team that needs an extra pair of hands, or you're starting something new and aren't sure where to begin, I can help. I'll listen first, keep things simple, and never make you feel silly for not knowing the jargon.

Campaigns are my speciality. I lead the creative work on It's a Penalty's campaigns around the world's biggest sporting events, so I know how to make something look good and say the right thing.

Human trafficking prevention across host cities

  • Campaign strategy
  • Out-of-home
  • Multilingual
  • Social

The brief

Run a prevention campaign around a major international football tournament, with host cities across the United States, Mexico and Canada. Each city needed messaging that fitted its own communities and support services while staying clearly part of one campaign.

My response

We co-developed the campaign with people who have experienced trafficking, alongside NGOs, first responders and government partners. Their input shaped the language, imagery and calls to action. I designed the artwork for every format, from airport screens and bus rears to delivery robots and city kiosks, and adapted it for each city and language.

Launch events and conference branding

  • Event branding
  • Print
  • Presentations
  • Merchandise

The brief

Every campaign opens with a press conference and launch event in the host city, bringing together government, law enforcement, sport and business leaders. Each one needs its own look that reflects the city while staying part of the wider campaign.

My response

I design the whole run of materials. Before the event that means Eventbrite banners, email invitations and social graphics to drive registrations. On the day it means backdrops, table drapes, roller banners, slides, table cards and take-away merchandise. For Las Vegas, New Orleans and Birmingham, UK, I developed distinct local identities within the It's a Penalty brand.

Future for Rare identity

  • Brand identity
  • Guidelines
  • Templates

The brief

Create an identity for Future for Rare, a new programme on UK rare conditions policy. It needed to feel distinctive while staying clearly connected to its established parent brand.

My response

A flexible identity built on a radial symbol that suggests progress and collective action. The primary mark uses the parent brand's painted swatch, and a simpler secondary mark works at small sizes. I delivered logo variations, an animated end slide, a multi-partner lockup, brand guidelines, report, agenda and PowerPoint templates, Canva social templates and roller banners.

Major Events 101: online course graphics

  • E-learning
  • Diagrams
  • Slide templates
  • Information design

The brief

Turn the content of Major Events 101, an online course on bidding for and delivering major events, into visuals learners can follow on screen without a presenter to explain them.

My response

I designed title and content slide templates in Trivandi’s orange, pink and blue, then more than 25 diagrams for the course: frameworks such as PESTLE and SWOT, process flows for procurement, decision-making tables and venue planning illustrations. Each one carries a single idea, with consistent colour coding so learners can recognise the same concepts from module to module.

Events & Festivals Institute

Brand identity for an events institute

  • Brand identity
  • Colour system
  • Merchandise

The brief

A bold, recognisable brand that carries the energy of live events and festivals, and works everywhere from digital platforms and signage to hoodies and lanyards.

My response

Heavy EFI lettering with a strong outline, so the mark holds up over crowd photography and solid colour alike. A bright six-colour palette gives a range of pairings for different materials while the identity stays consistent.

About

Anisa Easterbrook

I'm a freelance communications consultant and graphic designer in London, and for the last ten years I've mostly worked with charities and international development organisations.

I trained as a journalist, so I start every project with the words: what you need to say, and who needs to hear it. Then I design the identity and materials that carry it. That might be a brand, a campaign, a website, a report, social media or everything for an event.

For the past few years I've led the communications and design for It's a Penalty's campaigns against human trafficking, which run around the Super Bowl, the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup. Before that I worked with girl-led grassroots organisations at STARS Foundation, and found fundraising stories for JustGiving.

I like taking something complicated and making it easy to understand. I also care about getting the tone right for the people it's meant for, especially when the subject is sensitive.

So if you need a new identity, a report people will actually read, or someone to help with your comms and design week to week, I'd love to hear from you.
